BGSD Men's Cashmere Blend Long Walking Coat

I purchased this coat from Luxury Lane...The coat is beautiful, but the odor from dyes ( I assume) was overwhelming. Despite airing the coat, and spraying it with fabric refresher, over a period of almost three weeks, the odor remained.I wrote to the seller, who never answered my inquiry about suggestions regarding removing the smell. I also attempted to call them at their shipping address in Pennsylvania. (I found out later, that there is no company...it is an offshore manufacturer in China, with no offices in the States) I spoke with customer service at Amazon, and filed a claim against Luxury Lane, to please issue payment for multiple professional dry cleaning attempts that could possibly eliminate the odor permanently.
My claim was denied.The company said that the product was "new wool", and that the smell was consistent with a 'new wool product", and would eventually go away.

I bought this coat for my husband and he loves it. It looks great on him and the fit is true.

I found the coat to be very nice, well made and a good value for the price. There was no smell, and the company that sold this couldn't be easier to work with. I ended up returning it, simply because I wanted a nicer coat of all cashmere, but if this wasn't so close in look and style to that 3x more expensive cashmere coat, I would have kept it for a great "casual night out on cold nights" coat.
