Got the set, pants and top in the very dark black/green for a trip to Northern NY in the winter. It was rainy and freezing cold and ( half snowing) and very windy and these things kept me perfectly warm and were great did not allow any wind through. Granted I had the full cold gear on underneath (coat, thermals, normal clothes) But I was climbing all over stuff, getting caught on pointy brush and nothing got torn. The buttons keep you sealed very well and you can really protect yourself from the wet too. I'm 5'7" 180 lbs and there is just the perfect amount of room for my heavy clothes and still be flexible. I would not wear these if I was in hotter rainy weather. You can wear light clothes underneath and get them to work under cooler temps. And you will be in a sauna if you are too active and the ambient temperature is too high.

Purchased for a trip to Alaska, this jacket is 100% water proof, very durable will not rip or damage, strong as nails. I now use as an everyday work jacket for rainy days, keeps me dry with out getting hot as I live in Texas. Would get a size smaller as it fits rather big, I usually wear a large and needed a medium.

I found the jacket very practical and light to be wearing durig rain and light-snow weather. Its size is larger than the regular clothing sizes, if you are large in your shirt, select the size medium-large, besides this I like it.
