My father has this vest and has worn it until it was literally full of holes. I wanted to get him a new one but all the vests that I found closed around the throat. That's fine and dandy for winter weather warmth with the exception that when you raise your arms up, those vests with the closed throat would choke you. My father loved this V-neck version for just this reason...ease of mobility when you're working outside (He's a carpenter in Pennsylvania.).

I found this version on Amazon after searching 'in the retail stores' for days. This one is the exact same vest that he's worn all these years plus it had an added pocket on the inside with a sturdier lining than his old one.

Bottom line...my father wore it immediately.

The vest was everything I hoped it would be and the price was great. I was impressed by the speedy delivery - I received the vest about 5 days after having placed my order. I would highly recommend this vest and ordering it through Amazon.com. I'll be ordering more things from Ramsey Outdoors and Amazon!

The vest is everything I was expecting from Carhartt. It is perfect for my activities as it keeps my core warm while giving me freedom of movement. I would caution that the sizes seem to run small. I normally wear a large, but ordered a X-large and it is a good fit. Would definitely recommend this product.
