Columbia Bugaboo Tall Parka Mens

This coat covers all the essentials for a ski jacket: Warm, water-resistant, windproof, with several zippered pockets. Fit and finish are very good, as expected from a Columbia product. Bugaboo is long enough, though I prefer a jacket that reaches down to my upper thigh. The front zipper is covered by a double flap for weatherproofing, but it is one-way only. That and the absence of underarm vents limit the options for adjusting temperature/ventilation. The fleece liner makes a nice jacket by itself, and the shell is an excellent lightweight raincoat if worn without the liner. For the money, this jacket can't be beat.

I live in Central NY. I feel like we have 6 months of winter at times. It doesn't always snow but the weather is not so nice. This jacket will take you right through the changing seasons. In fall I use just the inside liner or the outer shell for when it rains. Then the two combined for the colder months. My wife and son both have a Bug-a-boo Columbia jacket also. They are the best. Well made and well worth the investment.
