The 3-in-1 construction delivers maximum versatility: simply detach the cozy liner for use during warmer spring shredding sessions or as the perfect outer layer for errands around town. It’s treated to resist stains and a light drizzle, so you’re covered if you happen to get caught in an unexpected storm. I live in Colorado and have been in need of a high quality 3-in-1 jacket for years to accomodate many outdoor activities in the spring, fall, and winter. I wanted a jacket that was versatile, waterprooof, breathable, windproof, and warm. I think this jacket will fit my needs perfectly with all the built-in features. I'm 6'1", 229lbs, and the XL fits well (form fit vs. loose fit). Plenty of pockets (very large front pockets); easy access to armpit vent zippers; stiff integral bill built into the removable hood; lightweight; cool snow skirt; and a great looking jacket overall. The inner jacket is fairly plain and simple. Both inner and outer jackets have adjustable hip/waist cords.

I am very happy with this jacket. I first saw it at REI on sale, but they did not have my size in stock. I found it on Amazon $50.00 cheaper, in stock and with free shipping. I usually wear an XL in Columbia outerwear, but after reading the reviews to buy one size larger, I ordered the XXL and it fit very comfortable. This jacket is waterproof and very warm and I use it for skiing. I am almost tempted to buy another one in a different color because I like it so much.

Bought this as a present for our adult son. He loves it. The lining is very warm and the shell is perfect for spring skiing. The fit is exactly as labeled. Have purchased this brand of jacket for over 25 years. Have never been disappointed. The jackets last forever.
