More Lightweight Than I Expected,

Just got this today so can't comment on field performance. This jacket is very lightweight. I planned to layer underneath, but this is like a heavy shell, not a puffy poly fill jacket. Hopefully the Omni-heat works as advertised. Lots of great pockets and hooks. A fisherman probably designed it. The jacket length is cut short, not sure why- maybe it's to keep it out of the water?? But that means it looks funny as a street jacket. Sleeves and chest fit great. Hood has elastic in the cap- great idea, but the fabric up the neck is a little short which pulls down on the back of the cap. I'm 6'3" 205lbs and I got the XL Sage color. Overall solid Columbia quality as usual. More colors would be good, like dark blue or olive - black is a weird color for a fishing jacket.
