Columbia Men's Northern Trek Jacket,Columbia Navy,XX-Large

I really like the simple style of this jacket. Fit is excellent (I wear a size large and am 6'1" and 190#). It's well made and appears pretty durable. The combination nylon/cotton outer shell is a great compromise between water/wind resistance, texture and appearance. I've had jackets where the pockets felt mis-placed or that didn't fit quite right in some dimension, but no such negatives with this one. Also nice that you can turn up the fleece collar to really keep the cold out. Inside (left side) zippered pocket is very handy. It's a great choice when a windbreaker is not enough but a heavy jacket is too much. The sleeve openings are elasticized, but not tight-fitting, good for layering.

Our son had ordered this coat and my husband really liked it. So I found the coat on Amazon and ordered it for him also. He really likes it. It is a great "better than casual" coat. It is perfect for our ever-changing Texas winters -- warm enough -- yet not too bulky.

This jacket is very stylish and very well priced. This is a perfect jacket for either late fall or early spring.
