... because my husband hasn't tried it -- that is, in wind and rain yet. He bought this for the Gortex Trans-Alps, and man, does it look nice. Great material, supremely light, and the way it fits, it looks like arm movement during runs won't be stifled. The shape is a great fit. He is 5'9" and fairly slender, but the medium fits perfectly (small would have been, well, too small, despite his frame.)

UPDATE:Success in the Alps! 35 degrees and snowing, my husband said he was surprisingly warm. His running partner had a more expensive, slightly heavier (by ounces, I mean; and I'm not sure of the brand?) one, and didn't like it as much. Also works well for cycling!
