So the great fit makes for a great match for me.
This is a well designed jacket because its so versatile for all season and weather. If I had to say one thing about this jacket, other than its fit and good looks, it would be its value-to-weight ratio. It is made to be very compact and light so that it can be stuffed into a computer bag, travel bag or backpack and take up very very little room and weight. And thats why I love it. Well made. Love the hood. Seams are sealed. One of my favorites. By This review is from: Transition Jacket - Men's by Mountain Hardwear (Apparel) The first time I put on this jacket I knew I was going to buy it. I mean it fit me like a glove. I have never had a piece of clothing straight off the rack feel like it was made just for me. I live in Alaska and run year round. I wear this jacket during my training runs (10+ miles) in -10 degree weather with nothing underneath except a Mountain Hardwear midweight longsleeve top and I stay plenty warm while on the move. It breathes well and performs perfectly. In light drizzles it keeps you dry but don't think it would do the same in a shower. The zipper has a nice long tether attached to it which makes it easy to open and close when needing to vent and I can even grab it with big bulky mittens on. The price is a little scary at first but its definitely worth it. |
