Initial quality out of the box is very good. The jacket looks excellent and has plenty of pockets. The inside liner is warm but feels quite light. Upon initial inspection there were 6 or 7 loose threads, but an X-Acto knife made quick work of those. The only star lost here is for stitching quality - otherwise I am very happy with the product, especially for the price. I looked at similar Columbia brand jackets with similar specifications that were $200. I was looking for water & wind resistance and this delivers on both counts.

i use this to head to the gym in winter/colder months/days, whatever. its definitely wind proof. a good snug fit and love the zippers...on to the bad...after a few months im developing a hole in the left pocket; good thing its inside, i just no longer put my keys in my pockets--problem solved. somewhat. :-(
