This review is from: Stearns Rainjammer Poncho (Apparel) I was looking for a poncho locally but could not find one except for the cheap throw-away ones. I came across this one and decided to give it a try. It is an excellent choice for the money and the Sportsman's Guide was very prompt in shipping it to me. I'm a big guy (5'10", 50" waist)and this poncho works great for me!! 20 of 23 people found the following review helpful: By This review is from: Stearns Rainjammer Poncho (Apparel) I bought three of these for an Alaskan trip. Mind you, I'm not trekking through wooded areas or climbing fences in this thing: I am literally sitting down on a bike, riding through paved city streets in the rain. There's no reasonable explanation for the rapid deterioration of this poncho in so short amount of time.
Given its price and quality, this would serve others well as an emergency, just-caught-in-the-rain poncho kept in a glove...Read more |
